I took a pause in the welding and grinding and disassembled the front suspension. The front struts are a quite cool variable sort and all the details were renovated by the PO.
Steering rack will need some TLC probably.

Where the left front leg is attached to the frame. Most of these parts are relatively rust free due to all the engine oil everywhere…
I then started to remove the rear suspension where I ran in into rust related problems. The bushings to the spring were totally toast or more precisely non-existent.
